Abstract:
Polyimide membranes, forming by adding ionic liquids in two different mole ratios to
the polyimide-based polymer matrices, are produced as an alternative for commonly
used perflorosülfonik acid (Nafion) membranes. High proton conductivity has been
achieved as a result of sulfuric acid-H2SO4 doping process on polymer electrolytes used
high temperature fuel cells in the literature. Therefore, the increment of the ionic
conductivity of our samples has been obtained by doping acid. Acid-doped and undoped
two types of membrane have been obtained. The frequency, thickness and temperature
dependence of ac conductivity and dielectric constant for all the samples were
investigated.
