Biography
Born in 1981 in Kütahya, Mustafa Özağaç started his education at Kütahya High School and graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. He completed his master's degree at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Theology, Department of Turkish-Islamic Literature with his thesis on 'Seher Abdal's Mesnevi named Saadetname'.
In 2009, he started to work as an office staff in the Social Security Institution of the Republic of Turkey. He served at Fatih Social Security Center for two and a half years. At the same time, he continued his doctoral studies at Istanbul University Institute of Turciyat Studies and received his doctorate degree in 2016 with his work on 'Habîbî's Vuslatname Masnavi'.
Since 2012, Mustafa Özağaç has been working at Istanbul University Faculty of Theology and continues his studies in the field of Turkish-Islamic Literature.
