Project Supported by Higher Education Institutions, BAP Research Project, 2015 - 2015
After the first studies focusing on Tongurlar Village in
Gölpazarı district of Bilecik, it has emerged that district-scale studies
should be carried out within the scope of the project. The study aims to define
the potentials of the villages in the district and to create an infrastructure
for future research. In the studies carried out by the Rural Planning and
Design team, all villages in Gölpazarı were examined in terms of settlement
types, economic potential, cultural heritage values, accessibility and
population change. In terms of landscape values, forest flora, agricultural
product atlas, product-time schedule were created. Common themes were
determined for the villages by using the graphcommons interface, and areas
where work could be done for the future were suggested. In addition, spatial
formation and architectural features were defined in the villages of Tongurlar
and Kurşunlu, which are the first stage of study areas.
