Proje Özeti

This was a post-doctoral clinical research fellowship position held at the Center for Applied Clinical Investigations (CACI) of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), in association with Harvard School of Dental Medicine, under the supervision of Dr. Thomas B. Dodson.

Fellowship activities included, but were not limited to, primarily developing and implementing two research projects entitled: 1) Radiographic predictors of mandibular nerve injury after third molar (M3) removal and 2) identifying risk factors associated with dental implant failure. The first project was executed at MGH in conjunction with the University of Pacific (UOP) in San Francisco, CA. I was also involved in another research project entitled "Identification of dental panoramic radiographic features for the screening of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women" under the supervision of Dr. Meredith August.

The results of the two research projects were published as scientific papers in SCI journals:
