Flipbooks are a type of animation that has existed since the early periods of the art of
animation and has continued until today. In the project, it is aimed to exhibit the works of Flipbook, which is a type of animation, with AR support. Flipbook is a type of animation that can be watched by manually
flipping the drawings on consecutive pages. This project will be supported by augmented reality (AR),
which will allow viewers to see the animation inside Flipbooks without touching them. Viewers will be
able to turn and play the flipbooks with their hands, or they will have the opportunity to watch these
animations with their mobile phone or tablet without touching them. Supporting the flipbook works to be
carried out within the scope of the project with AR constitutes the original aspect of the study. In this
context, the project may be one of the firsts in the field. In the project, both monitoring methods will be
compared with each other and the advantages and disadvantages of these methods will be emphasized.
The digitalization process, which was felt more intensely with the pandemic, will be experienced with this
exhibition.
