Özet

The European Transportation Policy which is the main

determinant of the transportation policy of Turkish Republic, aims

to facilitate trade and transportation in entire Europe. In this

context, EU carries out many regional projects and adopt

rehabilitation programmes especially on integrated transport and

railways. With her geographical importance, Turkey have a role as

a bridge on East – West axis. From one hand, EU supported projects

such as TRACECA emphasizes her role in Far East – European

trade, on the other hand Turkey becomes extension and

continuation of TEN-T. In this study, transport corridors crossing

over Turkey is evaluated with the TEN point of view.
