Abstract

This research aims and covers the evaluation of the impact of children's literature on museology in Turkey and in the world in terms of cultural, museum education and communication. By shaping the exhibitions, events and publications of museums and strengthening museum communication, children's literature plays a role in instilling goals such as cultural heritage awareness, art perception, language and history knowledge, and love of books in museums it is shaped by collection based abroad, while it is developing domestically with a focus on education and art. While children's literature can be the subject of a museum alone, the theme of "museum" can be the focus of attention of children's literature. While more comprehensive resources are available on the websites and libraries of children's museums abroad, the limited number of children's museums in Turkey makes their publications open to development. The gap in the limited number of children's books with the theme of 'museum' in Turkey is tried to be covered with translation books. The mutual interaction between children's literature and children's museums will continue as children's museums develop.
