Abstract

Tobacco-brand appearences are common in flints anda re becoming increasingly endorsed by actors. The most highly advertised cigarette brands account for most brand appearances, which suggests an advertising motive to this practice. We selected the top 75 box-office hits in the Turkey. We analysed the content to assess the association between exposure to tobacco us films and smoking behaviour in a sample of Turkish adolescents.
