Abstract

Dissolved and Dispersed PAH's concentrations in surface waters at the Sea of Marmara, Aegean Sea and Northeastern Mediterranean coast of Turkey were measured with UV Spectrofluorimetric method in September 1983. The highest average concentrations were measured in The Sea of Marmara, more precisely in İzmit Bay. Average concentrations in this bay were 1.33 ug/l. The lowest concentrations were measured in the Mediterranean with an average value of 0.30 ug/l.
