Abstract

In epilepsy surgery, postoperative follow up is as essential as preoperative evaluation. Examinations start immediately after the surgery and last for many years. Postoperative investigations cover four domains including clinic, laboratory, psychiatry and quality of life issues and are involved in the decision to discontinue antiepileptic drugs.
