Abstract

Purpose. Hindlimb ischemia and reperfusion leads to lung injury in various animal models. We investigated the effectiveness of FK506, an immunosuppressive agent, which also modulates neutrophilic infiltration, in preventing lung injury after hindlimb ischemia and reperfusion in a rat model.
