Abstract

This work the study of a new cataclysmic variable star GAIA14aae related to the stars of the type AM CVn are presented. Photometric observations of this star obtained in 2016-2017 at the telescopes RTT-150, T-100 and T-60 of the National Observatory TUBITAK. According to 10 nights of observations at the telescope RTT-150 and T-100, the value of orbital period of 49.7 minutes updated and a phase light curve with deep eclipses of more than 2.5 mag are received. The light curve and the analysis of spectra of this star, obtained with the TFOSC instrument telescope RTT-150 allows to identify the GAIA14aae as a eclipsing polar. Also according to the observations at the telescope T-60 the stellar BVR magnitudes are refined.
