Özet

Attempts of rereading and reinterpretation of almost universally accepted theories which claim to explain the basic dispositions of human beings within different disciplines is one of the main tendencies defining the contemporary "Zeitgeist". Nowadays the main concepts which are regarded as unquestionable in nearly all disciplines are being reinterpreted and reevaluated in respect to the context which they grew within. There, the book titled Social Psychology: Revisiting The Classical Studies which has been edited by Joanne R. Smith and Alexander Haslam and published in English by Sage Publications at 2012, aims the same objective from within the specific field of social psychology.
