ABSTRACT: World economy went through a major transformation after World War II. This period
which expresses the years after the 1950's is a period in which technological inventions and changes in the
mode of production are experienced for the world humanity. The economies that are determinant in the
world economy have created a new world order by using knowledge effectively in this change process.
Eectronical developments and knowledge (educational formation) and their's conversion into production
have been an important determinant in this change. . In the last condition, the technology fed by knowledge
(R&D) and electronics has opened the door to the metaverse world, which has the chance to propose a
new structuring in national and international trade. In this study, the developments that emerged in the
developed economies of this period creating to change in the world economy were examined and in this
surround, determinations were made to set an example for developing economies.
