Özet

Amaç: Bu çalışmada iki farklı implant lokatör parçalı sistemlerin hayatta kalış süresi ve başarı
oranlarının değerlendirilmesidir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Toplamda 42 SwissPlus Implant [©2013
SwissPlus Implants (©2013 Zımmer Dental Inc)] ve toplamda 42 ERA®Mini Dental Implant (Sterngold
Dental LLC Mini Dental) toplamda 30 hastaya yerleştirilmiştir (15 ERA®Mini Dental ve 15
Zimmer Dental Implants). Vakalar retrospektif olarak 3 yıllık periyotta hayatta kalış süresi ,implant
destekli overdenture protezlerin başarı oranını belirlemek amacıyla çalışılmıştır. Bulgular: 3
yıllık toplam başarı oranları SwissPlus İmplantları için %100, ERA®Mini Dental İmplantlar için
%95 olarak görülmüştür. Tüm implantlar klinik ve radyolojik olarak temelde her sene değerlendirilmiştir.
Takip sürecinde hiçbir implant çıkarılmamış ve hiçbir mekanik semptom ile karşılaşılmamıştır.
2 lokatör bağlantılı protezde komplikasyon yaşanmış bu da basit muayenehane pratiğiyle
giderilmiştir. Sonuç: En yaygın komplikasyon dişlerin veya dental kaidenin kırılmasıdır. Bu bulgularının
sınırlanmasıyla yeterli survival ve başarı oranı mandibulada; maksillaya yerleştirilmiş implantlar
kadar olduğu da 3 yıllık bir periyotunda onaylanmıştır.

Objective: This study was to evaluate the clinical performance , survival and success
rate of two different implants locator attachments systems. Material and Methods: A total number
of 42 SwissPlus Implants (©2013 Zimmer Dental Inc.) implants and Total number of 42
ERA®Mini Dental Implants (Sterngold Dental LLC and Zimmer Dental Inc) were placed in total
30 patients (15 ERA®Mini Dental and 15 Zimmer Dental Implants).The cases were examined retrospectively
in order to evaluate the clinical efficiency and determine the survival , success rate of
implant-supported overdentures after a 3-year period. Results: The 3-year cumulative success rates
for SwissPlus Implants were 100.00% and cumulative success rates for ERA®Mini Dental Implants
were 95.00%, respectively. All implants were assessed clinically and radiographically on a
yearly basis. During the follow-up, none of implants were removed and no mechanical complications
have been encountered. The complications associated with Locator retained prostheses can
usually be easily remedied with simple chairside procedures. Conclusion: The most common complication
was fractured teeth or denture base .Within the limitations of the present findings confirmed
sufficient survival and success rates ,implants placed in mandible as well as implants placed
in the maxilla after a 3-year period.
