Abstract

Graphene, the single atomic layer of the hexagonal graphite structure, has been the subject of widespread interest over the last decade due to its unique electronic, mechanical and optical properties.  In this study, we are presenting locally oxidized high-quality graphene flakes through lithographic techniques. Unlike oxidized region of the graphene flake, the conducting regions will be of high crystalline quality with high electron mobility. Therefore, a hybrid structure rather than graphene and graphene oxide was obtained at the end of this procedure. The samples were investigated for electrical conductivity and mobility as a function of temperature. For this purpose, a semiconductor analyzer (probe station) was used to investigate the electrical properties of the hybrid structure. Atomic force microscopy was carried out to reveal the topography and lateral force images.
