Web-tabanlı öğrenme, zaman ve mekan bağımlılığı olmadan öğrencinin kendi için en uygun
olan koşulda öğrenimini web üzerinden gerçekleştirmesine imkan tanıyan uzaktan öğrenme modelidir. Öğrenme sadece ders içeriği ile değil aynı zamanda dersin uygulanışı ile de ilişkilidir. Bu çalışmada ele alınan model, uzaktan eğitim uygulamasının bir ayağı olarak öncelikle ödev alma süreci için geliştirilmiş, aksaklıkları görülüp yeni bir uygulama modeli kurulmuştur. Kurulan bu modelin avantajı,
hem asenkron eğitim olarak ders materyallerini kullanma imkanı vermesi, hem de eşzamanlı iletişimi
olanaklı kılmasıdır. Model için hazırlanan ders materyallerinin bir başka avantajı ise sadece web üzerinden asenkron uzaktan eğitim dediğimiz eğitimle değil, aynı zamanda yüz yüze eğitimde eğitimle
dersi pekiştirmek, bilgisayar okuryazarlığı konusunda becerileri arttırmayı olanaklı kılmasıdır.
: Web based learning is a distance learning model that allows the student to continue his
education by the conditions that are most suitable for himself and without being bounded by time
and place. Learning is connected with not only the content of the course but also the application of
the course. the model focused on this study firstly improved for the period of taking assignment
as a part of distance education, seeing the obstacles, a new application model has been established. The advantage of this model is that it gives not only the opportunity of using educational
materials as an asynchronous education but also the potential of synchronised education. Another
advantage of the educational materials prepared for this purpose is they may be used not only for
asynchronous educations that are given via web, but also for face to face education to intensify
the lessons and enhanced skills about the knowledge of computer.
