Analitik felsefe 19. yüzyılın sonlarına doğru ortaya çıkan, felsefi sorunlara geleneksel felsefenin dışında yeni yaklaşımlar öneren, kavramsal açıklık, mantık ve gidimli düşünceyi öne çıkaran bir tutum olarak bilinmektedir. Son derece etkili ve yaygın olmasına karşın, kökenleri ve tanımlayıcı özellikleri hakkında tartışmalar süregelmektedir. Bu makalede analitik felsefenin tek bir özellik üzerinden tanımlanamayacağı, tersine bir dizi özelliklerin toplamı olarak belirdiği ve bu özelliklerin tümünün analitik felsefede anılan her filozofta bulunmadığı ileri sürülmektedir
Analytic philosophy has been an efficient way of philosophy going back to late nineteenth century that proposes a new approach to philosophical problems based on clarity, argumentation, and exactness. Although it is very renowned and wide-spread, there has been a debate concerning the origins and the characteristics of analytic philosophy. In this paper it is argued that, it is not possible to define analytic philosophy depending only one feature, i.e., there is not any unique feature of analytic philosophy but it is a sum of features. It is also claimed that philosophers who considered to be in analytic tradition don’t include all but some of these features in their philosophies
