Özet

The determination of sex and estimation of Stature are among the important aspect of forensic anthropology These characteristics display Population Specific variation and therefore. need further attention for major populations of the world. The aim of this special issue is to bring together scientific papers dealing with new anthropological techniques and knowledge about populations that are least known. The present issue is composed of 12 papers by individual scientists from Germany. South Africa, India, The United States. Croatia. Spain, Poland, and Turkey. The samples. those were analysed by these authors had wide range including remains from archaeological and mass grave sites and dictatorial regimes.. The papers show that Still osteometry seems to be the preferred technique because they are more effective in determining sex and estimating body height. Forensic anthropology seems to be developing technique for specific population groups and increasing its ability to deal with diverse Population around the world.
