The title is actually on common religious terms in Uyghur and Mongolian, but I will mention in my paper only Buddhist terms. Uyghur and Mongolian languages have two kinds of common Buddhist terms: 1) Sanskrit terms and 2) Uyghur terms.
Sanskrit terms accepted by Uyghur language mostly through Tocharian language. For example Mong. arši ~ Uyg. arši << Skr. ṛṣi. There are also some terms borrowed through Chinese too: Mong. abida ~ Uyg. abita < Çin. 阿彌陀 a-mi-tuo < Skr. amithābha. Some common terms also go back to Uyghur: Mong. ašiγ ~ Uyg. asïγ “profit, advantage”.
