In dentistry, there are applications in all branches of geriatric patient groups. The con-

cept of geriatric dentistry together with the extension of the average life expectancy in Turkey is

rapidly expanding and is increasing interest by dentists about treatment applications. The low level

of oral and dental care in lower age groups creates a basis for these people to encounter partial or com-

plete edentulism problems in the future. Although nowadays implant applications come first as treat-

ment alternatives in these patients, some systemic diseases and economy often cause us to encounter

situations where this option is not possible. At this point, physicians should be aware of complica-

tions specific to geriatric patients and applications that will increase patients' expectation and satis-

faction from a prosthesis. In today's conditions such as a pandemic, we can help patients by using

digital technologies in emergencies that concern the whole public,. Prosthetic approach in geriatric

patients is a field that includes many disciplines and requires special attention and application in this

sense.
