Capitalism, as Fuchs and Chandler (2019, p. 16) put it, is the
synthesis of several dynamically and historically evolving capitalisms.
Financial capitalism, mobility capitalism, hyper-industrial
capitalism, digital capitalism, and other forms of capitalism
combine to form a dialectical capitalist unity of interconnected,
contradictory moments. This situation can be observed when we
look at the development process of the industry in the world. The
First Industrial Revolution began with the mechanization that
developed with the widespread use of steam energy. Then came
the Second Industrial Revolution, also called the Technology
Revolution, which even went farther beyond the social and economic
transformation created by a mechanized industrial form
that replaced the manual production before it. This age enabled
humanity to enter an era in which people, commodities, and data
were transferable faster by the railway network, telegraph, and
electricity. That has paved the way for a transformation that will
have profound effects at the social, cultural, and economic levels.
