Bu çalışma Cumhuriyet Devrimi sonrasında toplumsal unutuş-anımsama sorunsalına değişen erkeklik paradigması üzerinden tiyatro metinleriyle odaklanmayı amaçlamıştır. Eski erkeklik paradigmasının yeni düzene nasıl sirayet ettiğini erken dönem cumhuriyet oyunları olarak adlandıracağımız Bir Adam Yaratmak ve Gölgeler metinleri üzerinden değerlendirecektir. Yeni düzen içinde durmadan anımsanan geçmiş (eski düzen), özneleri nasıl bir hayalete dönüştürdüğü açımlanacak ve bu bağlamda toplumsal değişimler oyunlar ekseninde örneklendirilmeye çalışılacaktır. Böylece bellekle kurulan ilişki değerlendirilmiş olacak, yeni düzenin unutturduğu imgeler, kavramlar oyunlar bağlamında tartışmaya açılmış olacaktır.
The aim of this study is to consider the problematic of social forgetting-remembering after the republican revolution under the concept of changing “male” paradigm. The traces of the mentioned problem are to be followed in the theatre texts. The way how the old “male” paradigm spread into the new order is to be examined in the texts such as Bir Adam Yaratmak and Gölgeler which can be seen as early republican period plays. How the remembering past (old order) made the old subjects ghosts is to be explored and within this context the social changes are exemplified in the theatre texts. By doing so the relationship with the memory will have been examined and the images and the concepts that the new order made us forget, will have been problematized.
