Abstract

The paper contributes to feminist scholarship on academic labour, identity, and care by showing that academic feminism in semi-peripheral institutional settings may take shape through ambivalence, strain, and incomplete becoming rather than confident identification. It also contributes to critical management studies by demonstrating how managerialist structures and wider systemic constraints delimit the boundaries of legitimate critique.
