Özet

Neuroptera are distributed throughout Azerbaijan, including islands. There are 71 species recorded from Greater Caucasus, making it the most diverse region, followed by Nakhchivan with 69 species. This paper provides the new faunistic data for all Mantispidae known from Azerbaijan and the Myrmeleontidae recorded as new for the country in the papers published between 2012 and 2023. In this period, 12 species (Mesonemurus paulus (McLachlan, 1875), Macronemurus linearis (Klug, 1834), Solter ledereri Nav & aacute;s 1912, Lopezus fedtschenkoi (McLachlan, 1875), Myrmecaelurus solaris Krivokhatsky 2002, Nohoveus armenicus (Krivokhatsky, 1993), Creoleon remanei H & ouml;lzel 1972, Cueta anomala Nav & aacute;s 1915, Distoleon kabulensis H & ouml;lzel 1972, Distoleon formosus H & ouml;lzel 1972 and Delfimeus morgani, Aspoeckiana curdica H & ouml;lzel 1972) and 2 subspecies (Neuroleon nemausiensis piryulini Krivokhatsky, 2011, Aspoeckiana uralensis jakushenkoi (Zakharenko, 1983)) from the family Myrmeleontidae were recorded. Mantispa styriaca, Mantispa aphavexelte U. Asp & ouml;ck & H. Asp & ouml;ck, 1994 (Mantispidae), Bubopsis hamata (Klug, 1834) (Ascalaphidae), Palpares turcicus Ko & ccedil;ak, 1976, Dendroleon pantherinus (Fabricius, 1787), Neuroleon (Ganussa) tenellus (Klug ex Ehrenberg 1834) and Pseudoformicaleo gracilis Klug in Ehrenberg (1834) (Myrmeleontidae) are listed in Azerbaijan's Red Book. Additionally, the DNA barcodes for 29 lacewings of Azerbaijan were obtained.
