Abstract

Pseudophoxinus ninae, new species, from Onac drainage, Central Anatolia, is distinguished from other Anatolian Pseudophoxinus by an incomplete lateral line, 46-52+2-3 scales in lateral series, the pelvic-fin origin in front of the dorsal-fin origin, short pelvic fins, no scaled keel between the posterior pelvic-fin base and the anus, a rounded snout, small eyes and short head.
