Abstract. This chapter aims at comparing the major Islamic views on economy to previously experienced views such as socialist, fascist and capitalist attitudes. The role of government, interest rates, public and private property rights and regulations, implementation difficulties, market mechanism and financial management, wealth accumulation are the main areas of concern in this paper.
