Özet

Encarnación Aragoneses Urquijo, better known by her pseudonym Elena Fortún, was one of the most famous authors of children's literature in Spain during the first half of the 20th century. Although the collection of books featuring her character Celia is the most well-known and has endured over time, making her one of the most important writers in the genre, Fortún wrote many other children's works that had nothing to do with that collection. Additionally, she published numerous articles and reviews, and maintained a rich correspondence with friends and other writers as well, much of which has come to light in recent years or is awaiting rescue from oblivion. After a few years when her work went relatively unnoticed without completely losing the favor of the public, in recent times she has been "rediscovered," her books are being published again, and numerous studies and conferences about her figure are being held in Spain. This paper aims to analyze the "other" children's works by the writer that, although most of them are already published, are much less known among the general public and also among most academics or researchers.
