Özet

Tuberculosis still remains as an important health problem all over the world and in our country. Neurological involvement may also be seen in tuberculosis cases. While, the most frequent presentation of neuro tuberculosis is meningitis, tuberculosis can also involve the brain and spinal cord with different manifestations like tuberculomas, absceses and may cause vasculitis, encephalitis or myelitis. In this article we present four cases, ages between 15 and 32 years, with variable clinical and radiological manifestations, and in three of the cases with tuberculomas located not only in the supratentorial but also in the infratentorial region of the brain. On the basis of these cases presenting with tuberculomas, we intend to point out the delayed diagnosis and treatment which may be due to diagnostic problems and the high mortality and morbidity rate of the disease and to emphasize the importance of early diagnosis.
