Özet

This article critically analyzes the Disabled Nerd Podcast, created by Hanna, a disabled podcaster, to explore how podcasting provides a platform for self-expression and challenges mainstream media's negative portrayals of disability. By focusing on Hanna's experience, the article answers questions such as how podcasting empowers disabled creators to challenge disability narratives and how the ecosystem can become more inclusive for them. In light of Hanna's motivations, challenges, and plans, recommendations are made for podcasting platforms like Spotify to ensure greater participation of disabled voices.
