Abstract

In this paper, a new method is suggested to compute the largest gain satisfying maximum achievable phase margin for open-loop stable systems. The method focuses on using the Nyquist stability criterion and applying previously developed theorems which allow determination of all stabilizing proportional controllers that satisfy maximum achievable gain and phase margins
