Özet

 COVID-19 pandemisi tüm dünyaya yayılarak, başta sağlık ve ekonomi olmak üzere birçok sektörü olumsuz etkilemiştir. 21. yüzyılda meydana gelen bu pandemi diğer salgınlardan farklı olarak daha geniş coğrafi bölgelere yayılmıştır. Ekonomik faaliyetlerin küreselleşmesi, ticari ilişkilerin de salgından etkilenmesi bütün dünya ülkeleri için geçerlidir. Çalışmanın amacı; COVID-19 pandemisinin ekonomik etkilerinin dünyada ve Türkiye’de seramik sanayii açısından değerlendirilmesidir. İstatistiki verilerden; Trade Map; GTİP 69- 6907-6910 kodlu ihracat-ithalat verileri değişimlerinden hareketle seramik sanayiinde pandeminin etkileri ortaya konulmuştur. Çalışmanın ana bulgusu; seramik sanayiinde birçok ülkenin üretim, ihracat ve ithalat faaliyetlerinin olumsuz etkilendiği gözlemlenmişken Türkiye’nin pandemide seramik sanayii ürünleri ihracatını arttırdığı ortaya çıkmıştır. 

 The COVID-19 pandemic has spread all over the world, negatively affecting many sectors especially health and economy. This pandemic, which occurred in the 21st century, has spread to wider geographical regions, unlike other epidemics. The globalization of economic activities and the fact that trade relations are affected by the epidemic are valid for all countries of the world. The aim of the study; Evaluation of the economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in terms of the ceramic industry in the world and in Turkey. From statistical data; TradeMap; based on the changes in export-import data with the code of GTİP 69- 6907-6910, the effects of the pandemic in the ceramic industry were revealed. The main finding of the study; while it was observed that exports and importers were negatively affected in production in the ceramic industry, it was demonstrated that Turkey's ceramic exports were exhibited during the pandemic.
