Abstract

Improving technology increases requirement of software quality. Different software test design tecniques are utilized in case of producing qualified software. Efficiency of software test desgin techniques is variable according to different parameters and it leads to impossible absolute comparison between these techniques. This paper includes comparative analysis of software test design techniques according to frequency of use, applicability and defect detection rate. Bayes' theorem is profited for comparative analysis. This work has shown that dynamic test desgin techniques are more efficient than static ones and blackbox techniques are more efficient than white box techniques, too.
