Brucella endocarditis treated by valve replacement and antibiotics

Özet

We report a case of brucella endocarditis on a native degenerative aortic valve causing aortic stenosis, aortic regurgitation and congestive heart failure resistant to medical treatment. The diagnosis was proven by positive serology and positive blood culture. The patient was successfully treated with valve replacement and specific antibiotic therapy.
