The Importance and Function of Turkish Classes in German Language Teachers Training Process
The foreign language teachers training process functions and is carried on dealing with certain goals and principles. In this respect, there have been various studies discussing the currently developed programmes which are aiming to reconstruct the Education Faculties. Foreign language teachers training departments in general and especially German language teachers training department focus on the field studies about the subject matter and class contents. However, the discussions haven’t been brought to an end yet; and the departments still lack classes for improving Turkish language that is included in their programmes. As a matter of fact, this study directs itself to the Turkish classes at different levels of the education programme; the ideas and suggestions about the significance and the reconstruction of the Turkish classes will be discussed.
