Özet

It is important for water which is indispensable for existence and maintenance of life, to be convenient for health. Determination of convenience for health is necessary for drinking water and general use water with water analysis. Water that is convenient for health is colourless, odorless, clear, neutral or lightly alkali and has a nice taste. It should not contain organic material, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, detergent and heavy metals like lead, arsenic, cadmium, cyanide, chrome, mercury, nickel and pesticides and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. It is required to contain suitable amounts of minerals, calcium, phosphor, sodium, potassium, iron, zinc, copper, chrome, iodine, selenium and magnesium which are necessary for human body. Water must not contain coliform bacterias and E. coli. This review summarises analysis methods of water.
