Abstract

The interest of many countries towards solving the environmental problems has increased essentially in the last quarter of the century. Environmental damage has been observed clearly after the mass production period in the world. The developed countries focus their attention on the problems which cause health problems, climate changes, pressures on natural resources, etc. Energy production is one of the most important factors which cause greenhouse effect. The Turkish energy polices and greenhouse gas emissions have been analysed in the paper.
