Özet

Adult mesencyhmal stem cells ( MSC) are the cells existing in bone marrow ( BM) and having the potential to differentiate to different cell types. These cells present osteogenic, adipogenic and chondrogenic differentiation characteristics and may thus BM aspiration samples from patients with no haematological malignancies were used. CD3, CD16, CD33, CD34, CD38, CD44, CD45, CD59, CD73, CD90 and CD105 expressions were analysed by flow cytometry before and after isolation. Immunophenotypic analyses of the MSCs were repeated during the culture period of 16 weeks. Following the third passage, MSCs were directed into adipocytes and osteocytes for 5 weeks. The differentiation rate into adipocytes and osteocytes were investigated histochemically.
