Özet

Among many planetariums in Turkey, Istanbul University hosts the frst planetarium in an astronomy department run by professional astronomers and graduate and undergraduate astronomy students. In this work, we present the design and some technical aspects of the planetarium, as well as our experiences since its opening in 2018.
