The difference was confirmed by a comparative study of the two Koreas' research history on the Korean fable novel, <Guksunjeon.> This study showed the differences in genre classification and interpretative aspects of 가전, which is the part to be especially focused on. Moreover there was a tendency to discuss Guksunjeon with Gukseonsaengjeon.
