Examination of perception and attitude towards COVID19 vaccination as a cross-sectional study from Turkey

Özet

Background/Aims: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID_19) has spread rapidly and has become a worldwide epidemic and a serious threat to public health.
This research was conducted to determine the approval and impact of the COVID_19 vaccination. Perception of COVID_19 on attitudes regarding vaccination in Turkey.
Methods: Descriptive and cross-sectional designs were usage in the research. The sample consisted of 500 person. The sociodemographic file, attitude questionnaire regarding COVID_19 vaccination, and COVID_19 perception questionnaire were usage as data collection files. Count and percentage distributions, means, standard deviation, Kruskal–Wallis, and Mann–Whitney U tests were used to analyze the data.
Results: In the research, 50% of exhibitors wanted to get the COVID-19 vaccine. It was found that there was a meaningful connection between approval of the COVID-19 vaccination and approval of the COVID-19 vaccine. By old year, sex, teaching level, occupation, and the settlement. There was something positive with meaning points of COVID-19 perception exhibitors' attitudes regarding the COVID_19 vaccination.
Conclusions:  In a row with this result, persons' improved perception of sickness related to COVID-19 improved their positive attitudes toward the COVID_19 vaccination. It is suggested that training programs for vulnerable groups can be planned by determining which group they belong to the community has a better perception of the disease and vaccination denial value.
