Özet

Wikilala, an online digital library project aiming to gather and digitize all the printed texts from the Ottoman Empire since the introduction of the printing press, has been shedding new light on the empire's far-reaching history and culture. Thousands of books, magazines, journals, newspapers, and various other documents in Ottoman Turkish have been digitized and made available for those having interest, in and out of the academia. Surely there is a great deal of knowledge waiting to be discovered in Ottoman Turkish embedded in those colossal pieces printed since the time of Ibrahim Müteferriqa.
