Özet

The globalization process, technological advances and rapid transportation systems have led to an increase in intercontinental trade. This has increased the competitive environment between businesses and led to significant developments in commercial and economic activities. It has made it inevitable for businesses to take part in the international arena in order to survive and develop in this competitive environment. Entering international markets is important for businesses in terms of growth, profitability, selling excess production capacity and increasing their competitiveness. In this case, the strategies they will form when entering international markets and the concepts of finding target markets are important. This study examines how to access the information to be used in determining the right target market when entering international markets and how this information should be evaluated. In this context, the target market selection analysis of hydrogen peroxide, which is used for many purposes in different sectors, for export using secondary data is examined as an example. Businesses will be able to make the right decisions based on information rather than guesses. Access to the right information is through having the right data and the right analysis. Businesses that want to operate internationally should obtain data from different sources as much as possible, access information by analyzing these data together and make their decisions accordingly. In this way, businesses that evaluate internationalization opportunities minimize the risk of error. In this way, it will be possible to prevent mistakes that are difficult or even impossible to correct in the process; or that may cause huge additional costs. Successful internationalization activities will also enable businesses to grow rapidly. Increasing exports by reaching potential customers will also support the economic growth and development of our country.
