Tuva Cumhuriyeti’nin Nüfus Dinamikleri: Tarihsel ve Sosyo-Demografik Bir İnceleme

Özet
Tuva Cumhuriyeti, Sibirya’nın güneyinde yer alan Rusya Federasyonu’na bağlı Türk Cumhuriyetlerinden biridir. Bu çalışmanın amacı Tuva Cumhuriyeti’nin nüfusunu jeopolitik açıdan analiz etmektir. Tuva Cumhuriyeti coğrafi konumu nedeniyle jeopolitik açıdan önemli bir bölge olarak dikkat çekmektedir. Tarihsel süreç boyunca bu topraklar, ulusların mücadelesine sahne olmuş ve bölge devletleri arasındaki rekabetin merkezi haline gelmiştir. Tuva Cumhuriyeti’nin nüfus yapısındaki büyük ölçekli değişim süreci 20. yüzyılda Sovyetler Birliği döneminde başlamıştır. Bu süreçte Tuva etno-demografik, siyasi, kültürel ve ekonomik yönleri olumsuz etkilenmiştir. Tuva Cumhuriyeti ile Ruslar arasındaki ilişkiler uzun bir geçmişe sahip olduğundan bu çalışma, iki toplum arasındaki demografik bağın bölgesel etkilerine odaklanmaktadır. Rusya Federasyonu döneminin başlamasıyla birlikte önceki dönemlerde uygulanan politikalarda değişiklikler gözlenmiştir. Günümüzde Rus nüfusunun Tuva Cumhuriyeti’nin demografik yapısı üzerindeki etkisi önemli ölçüde azalmıştır. Bu çalışmada Tuva Cumhuriyeti’nin yıllara göre nüfus miktarı, yoğunluğu, dağılımı, doğurganlık ve ölüm oranları, kır-kent nüfus miktarları, etnik kompozisyon ve cinsiyet yapısı parametreleri ayrıntılı olarak incelenmiştir.
The Republic of Tiva is one of the Turkic Republics of the Russian Federation located in the south of Siberia. The aim of this study is to analyse the population of the Republic of Tiva from a geopolitical point of view. The Republic of Tiva draws attention as a geopolitically important region due to its geographical location. Throughout the historical process, these lands have been the scene of the struggle of nations and the centre of rivalry between the states of the region. The process of large-scale change in the population structure of the Republic of Tiva began in the 20th century during the Soviet Union. In this process, ethno-demographic, political, cultural and economic aspects of Tiva were negatively affected. Since the relations between the Republic of Tiva and the Russians have a long history, this study focuses on the regional effects of the demographic bond between the two communities. With the beginning of the Russian Federation period, changes were observed in the policies implemented in previous periods. Today, the influence of the Russian population on the demographic structure of the Republic of Tiva has significantly decreased. In this study, the parameters of the population, density, distribution, fertility and mortality rates, rural-urban population, ethnic composition and gender structure of the Republic of Tiva by years are analysed in detail.
