An Evaluation on Purposes of Primary Education Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge Curriculum

Özet

Curriculum Development actions in Turkey had begun recently. It is possible to say that the most important phase in these actions is applying "curriculum" by abandoning "syllabus" that means lessons and subjects lists. Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge was influenced from the changing of pradigms in education as well and primary school curriculum was developed in 2000 and it has been applying since 2010 with some changing. The most important development in new curriculum is adopting Constructivist Approach as educational approach. In this article, we tried to analyse and evaluate the curriculum with regard to purposes of it.
