Abstract

We present Hαdirect imaging and shell spectro-
scopic observations of two classical novae: FH Ser 1970 and
QU Vul 1984. The distances, reddenings, luminosities at max-
imum, and the mass of the shell ejected by FH Ser are derived
and discussed.
