Abstract

Nowadays, the photocatalytic process is largely taken advantage of in water and wastewater treatment. In recent studies, it has been revealed that organic compounds in water and wastewater can be  efficiently removed using this process. There are many studies on photocatalytic degradation technology and plenty of studies are still in progress. Because of the many advantages of this process, special attention is also paid to the photocatalytic degradation of pesticides, herbicides and related compounds.
