Abstract
In this study, highly uniform tungsten oxide thin films were prepared on ITO glass by electron-beam evaporation technique. The detailed electrochemical measurements of the prepared WO3-x thin films were carried out in a three-electrode cell system where the WO3-x substrate, platinum (Pt) and silver (Ag) wires were used as working, counter and reference electrode, respectively immersed in 1 M LiClO4 in propylene carbonate (LiClO4/PC) solution. To indicate the surface morphology and optical transmission measurements of the as–deposited thin films, XRD, SEM and UV-vis measurements were carried out. Results show that thin films have amorphous, homogeneous and uniform structure with an efficient optical performance.
