One of the most important areas of forensic science is document examination. The aim of the studies in the field of document review is to find answers to two questions asked by the judicial system. The first question is; who created the document, and the second one is; when was the document created. Forensic chemists mostly work to determine when the document was created. For age determination, the change of ink components on the suspect document over time is determined by analytical techniques.
