“The most important feature of the post-modern academic studies conducted in the last half century is aimed at dismantling, disrupting and reconstructing the clichés that constructed the so-called modern period. It is possible to see these in every field of the academy: philosophy, science, history, literature, art, architecture, politics etc. Within this total, the places of J. Derrida, G. Deleuze, M. Foucault and H.-G. Gadamer are quite different. In our opinion, the work titled “el-Burhân alâ Bekâi Mülki Beni Osmân ilâ Âhiri’z-Zaman” can be read again and again within the aforementioned accumulation and as a result, it is a text that will produce differences regarding Ottoman history. “el-Burhân alâ…” is primarily a text on the period of Abdülhamid II; political studies, identity theories, Rumiism, the end of history, futurism, future millennia etc. “A text that is powerful enough to require reviewing theses in many fields, such as al-Burhân alâ Bekâi Mülki Beni Osman ila Âhiri’z-Zaman…” is a work that seems small but will dismantle large structures in a deconstructionist sense.
